National authorities were better informed of the benefits, activities and opportunities of the Convention.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/gwpo-gwp.org\/afrique-ouest\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2026\/04\/cii-1.jpg\" height=\"361\" width=\"640\">The second national workshop was held on 16 to 18 April to assess and raise awareness among decision-makers and end-users of the products of the water resources monitoring system and satellite hydrological forecasts in the Niger Basin. This workshop is part of the project &#8221; Satellite Based Water Monitoring and Flow forecasting System in the&nbsp;Niger&nbsp;Basin\u201d (SATH Project). The project aims to improve knowledge and monitoring of water resources in the Niger Basin. The meeting was organized by The Niger Basin Authority (NBA) and its national Focal Structure in C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire.<\/p>\n<p>Both meetings were attended by CWP C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire executive secretary, Fran\u00e7ois KOUADIO.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The national workshop on the Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes was organized by the Ministry of Water and Forestry on April 15 to discuss the \u00abOpportunities and Prospects for C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire&#8221;.
