Participation in Learn and share meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n

A brief meeting was held between the Communications Officers of CWP-Ghana\/WACDEP and International Water Management Institute (IWMI) on 17th<\/sup> June, 2015 at IWMI. The focus of this meeting was to share experiences from communication activities carried out in the first half of the year and deliberate on how best the two organisations could collaborate on executing joint activities. The details of this collaboration will be agreed on in future discussions.  <\/strong><\/p>\n

Participation in the 1st Webinar Meeting of the Test Technical Group (TTG) for the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (Gama) on WatSan<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The CWP-Ghana was represented by the Project Manager, Mr Maxwell Boateng-Gyimah and the Young professional, Isaac Barnes, at a webinar meeting on 22nd June at the Auditorium of the International House, University of Ghana Legon in Accra. This meeting was organized by Cities Alliance based in the UK. The purpose of the meeting was to bring together stakeholders involved in Water and Sanitation in Accra to aid in generating the necessary information needed to develop resilient modules  focused on the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in GAMA, and to help build capacity and expertise amongst key GAMA stakeholders.  Participants included Zoomlion, EPA and some District Assemblies.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

    Participation in the Climate Info Session To Support Ghana On The Road To Paris Global Agreement <\/p>\n

    The Project Manager, Mr. Maxwell Boateng-Gyimah and the Young Professional, Isaac Barnes, participated in an Information Session at the conference room of WASCAL in Accra on 17th June, 2015. This session was organised by the European Union in Ghana in collaboration with West Africa Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL). The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Clavier, the French Ambassador to Ghana and Ambassador John Benjamin, British High Commissioner to Ghana. Other participating institutions included the French Embassy, Environmental protection Agency (EPA), Kasa Ghana, and Water Aid Ghana (WAG).
