The<\/span> workshop<\/span> WAS<\/span> Meant to<\/span> aid<\/span> participants<\/span> to<\/span> the<\/span> skills and<\/span> knowledge<\/span> ACQUIRE<\/span> to<\/span> Develop<\/span> a<\/span> balanced<\/span> portfolio of<\/span> investment<\/span> options<\/span> That<\/span> Enhances<\/span> water<\/span> security<\/span> for climate<\/span> resilient<\/span> growth<\/span> and<\/span> development<\/span>;<\/span> learn<\/span> how to<\/span> Prioritize<\/span> no \/<\/span> low<\/span> regret<\/span> options<\/span> and<\/span> to make clear<\/span> Economic<\/span> Case for<\/span> Investments<\/span>;<\/span> apply<\/span> the<\/span> knowledge<\/span> and tools<\/span> from<\/span> Workshop<\/span> I on<\/span> real<\/span> project<\/span> cases<\/span> DURING THE<\/span> field<\/span> trips<\/span> and Develop<\/span> linkages<\/span> by<\/span> Promoting<\/span> networking<\/span> and<\/span> cooperation.<\/span>
Took<\/span> 12 participants<\/span> share<\/span> in the<\/span> workshop<\/span> from<\/span> The Following<\/span> Governmental<\/span> institutions<\/span> and<\/span> agencies<\/span>:<\/span> National Development Planning<\/span> Commission (<\/span>NDPC<\/span>)<\/span>,<\/span> Water Resources Commission<\/span> (<\/span>WRC)<\/span>,<\/span> Institute of<\/span> Local<\/span> Government Studies<\/span> (<\/span>ILGS<\/span>)<\/span>,<\/span> Hydrological<\/span> Services<\/span> Department (<\/span>HSD)<\/span> and Community<\/span> Water and Sanitation<\/span> Agency (<\/span>CWSA<\/span>)<\/span>, Regional<\/span> Coordinating Council<\/span> (RCC<\/span>)<\/span> from<\/span> the Northern<\/span>,<\/span> Upper West<\/span> and<\/span> Upper East<\/span> Regions<\/span>.<\/span>
The<\/span> training<\/span> WAS<\/span> marked<\/span> with<\/span> lectures,<\/span> discussions<\/span> and<\/span> exercises<\/span> on<\/span> how to<\/span> Identify and<\/span> appraise<\/span> options<\/span> on<\/span> climate change<\/span> and<\/span> year<\/span> tour<\/span> to<\/span> various<\/span> locations<\/span> in the<\/span> Bawku<\/span> West<\/span> District<\/span>,<\/span> Bawku<\/span> and<\/span> Bolgatanga<\/span> Municipalities.<\/span><\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
