In West Africa, the Youth from Benin, Burkina Faso and Togo will respectively lead with the support of the CWP of Benin and Burkina Faso and the NGO JVE (Young Volunteers for Environment) in Togo, national consultations during the next four months. The purpose of these consultations is to obtain national shared diagnoses and concerted proposals in each country on the inclusion and the role the Youth can play in the governance of water and food security in the context of climate change. The results from all the countries involved in the initiative and in particular national consultations will help to improve the integration of the youth in the post-2015 agenda. In all nine (9) francophone countries are covered by the initiative: Benin, Burkina, Cameroun, Togo, Tunisia, Haiti, France, Belgium and Canada.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Following the information day on the Francophone youth for water project in Korea on April 13, 2015 and the orientation day in Cotonou on May 8, actions are continuing with the World Youth Parliament for Water (WYPW).
