As part of the 7th World Water Forum to be held in South Korea from 12 to 17 April 2015, the African Ministerial Conference on Water (AMCOW) initiated sub-regional processes led by Regional Economic Communities (RECs). The process for the West African region is carried by ECOWAS through its Water Resources Coordination Centre (WRCC). A consultant produced a report that was submitted for examination and validation during the workshop held on 8 to 10 January 2015 in Leo, 160 km from Ouagadougou.<\/p>\n
Participation in this regional workshop enabled GWP to input effectively in the work and bring the network’s contributions to this regional report. GWP \/ WA will be involved and contribute to the formalization of the report and the activities of the Task Force set up.
