The Tajikistan Water Partnership was created as a formal network of 16 institutions (national agencies, design,\u00a0research\u00a0and public organizations). <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main goal is to\u00a0facilitate\u00a0process of IWRM implementation in Tajikistan. The main activity is directed to providing the National Dialogues and to building strong relationships between water authorities and sectors, as well as to improve IWRM legislation and public awareness on water management planning. The Tajikistan Water Partnership advocates, stores and\u00a0disseminates\u00a0knowledge for sustainable development by implementing regional mechanism on applying the\u00a0ToolBox\u00a0as a base of GWP knowledge on water resources management. It also cooperates with regional system of building\u00a0capacity, and\u00a0provides ways to improve local and interregional relationships within the GWP network.\u00a0

Since 1 October 2013 – under the aegis of the Public Organization “Water Partnership of Tajikistan”.\u00a0
