The Armenia Water Partnership is officially registered as NGO. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The certain steps to put the IWRM principles in practice have been made in Armenia. The first steps were\u00a0stated\u00a0in the Water Code and in the related by-lows\u00a0over the\u00a0last\u00a0years. The IWRM principles are adopted in\u00a0a number of\u00a0national projects and the programs, which are implemented in Armenia under financial support of the international donors with proper methodological facilitation from GWP CACENA. The Ministry of Nature Protection and the Water Resources Management Agency play a key role in practical application of the IWRM principles. The Armenia Water Partnership IWRM includes 20 accredited partners and promotes public awareness and participation processes acting in close cooperation with the above-mentioned authorities.\u00a0Also,\u00a0it conducts\u00a0the capacity\u00a0development programs on IWRM issues.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
