Scope<\/h4>\n

GWP-C in collaboration with the GEF CReW+ and UNEP CEP and Cartagena Convention Secretariat has re-opened the Call for Project Proposals<\/span> for the implementation of a IWWM Capacity Building Project in any of the GEF CReW+ Participating<\/a> countries<\/span>. <\/p>\n

Funding of US$5,000<\/span> per grant will be awarded to successful applicants, for the execution of their proposed IWWM capacity building project. The small-scale IWWM capacity building project should span a maximum of five (5) months and must be completed by end of July, 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Overall Objective of The Call<\/span><\/h4>\n

Develop and submit a proposal to implement a small-scale capacity building project in the Caribbean Region (must be a CReW+ country) <\/span>in the area of Integrated Water and Wastewater Management (IWWM).<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/h4>\n

Deliverables and Schedule<\/span><\/h4>\n

Deliverables:<\/span> Successful grantees will be required to develop a final report on their IWWM capacity building project, which must include a financial statement.<\/p>\n

Schedule:<\/span> <\/span>Successful grantees will also be required to develop an activity-based timeline for their proposal; all activities must be implemented within the timeframe provided in the project proposal.<\/p>\n

Submission of Project Proposal<\/span><\/h4>\n

Submission of project proposals, inclusive of a budget and timeline should be completed via this fillable Project Proposal Template<\/a>  and e-mailed to: simone.lewis@gwp-caribbean.org<\/a> with a copy to kerron.martinez@gwp-caribbean.org<\/a> by December 31st<\/span>, 2022. The subject line of the submission email should be “IWWM Capacity Building Grants”.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project proposal should include all financial costs to be borne by the prospective grantee <\/span>for executing the project. We will be in contact with the applicants whose proposals are under consideration, within three (3) weeks<\/span> following the deadline date.<\/p>\n
