Participants will be exposed to a wide range of issues related to wastewater reuse in the Caribbean region including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The benefits of treated wastewater reuse<\/li>\n<li>New and innovative technologies in wastewater recycling<\/li>\n<li>Youth advocacy: why the voice of youth matters in IWWM<\/li>\n<li>The linkages between wastewater and other trending issues such as climate change and gender<\/li>\n<li>#LetsTalkAboutShit \u2013 creating fresh and dynamic social media campaigns and content relating to wastewater<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As part of this workshop, participants will also be given the opportunity to create social media content (copy and video) to raise awareness of IWWM among Caribbean youth and the wider public.<\/p>\n<h4>Draft Agenda<\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"IWWM Youth Workshop Agenda\" src=\"https:\/\/gwpo-gwp.org\/caribbean\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/04\/iwwm-youth-workshop-agenda-1.png\"><\/p>\n<h4>Application<\/h4>\n<p>If you are interested in participating in the&nbsp;<strong>IWWM Youth Workshop<\/strong>, we invite you to complete this <a title=\"IWWM Youth Workshop - Expression of Interest\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/QL4hedUPvkxwVqQk8\">Expression of Interest Form<\/a> before the <strong>deadline of August 31st, 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"2022 IWWM Journalist Workshop\" src=\"https:\/\/gwpo-gwp.org\/caribbean\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/04\/iwwm-journalist-workshop-website-graphic-1.png\" height=\"300\" width=\"640\"><\/p>\n<h3>Journalist Communications Workshop: <em>Changing the Rhetoric &#8211; The Media&#8217;s Role in Saving the Water<\/em><b><i><br><\/i><\/b><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This workshop will be open to <b>Caribbean Journalists<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><b>Scope<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The purpose of this workshop is to give an overview of Wastewater Management and Sanitation in the Caribbean, including insight into Governance Frameworks for Wastewater Management on the national, regional and global levels.
