It builds youth leadership, knowledge, and skills to address challenges such as water quality, climate change, and river transport, while creating platforms for meaningful youth participation in decision-making. As a Seed Money Facility project,&nbsp;DANUrely-WS also prepares the ground for new funding opportunities by developing ideas,&nbsp;partnerships&nbsp;and project concepts for future larger-scale initiatives.&nbsp;\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>Project\u202fobjectives:&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Analyse&nbsp;and better understand the needs,&nbsp;challenges&nbsp;and expectations of young people in the water sector in the Danube&nbsp;Region;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop a joint workplan for a future larger-scale youth&nbsp;project;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Map relevant funding opportunities and&nbsp;programmes&nbsp;to support follow-up&nbsp;actions;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthen partnerships and cooperation among&nbsp;organisations&nbsp;working with youth and water management across the region&nbsp;<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Role of GWP CEE in the project:&nbsp;<\/strong>GWP CEE acted as the Lead Partner of&nbsp;DANUrely-WS, coordinating the partnership and guiding the overall implementation of the project. It&nbsp;organised&nbsp;key youth engagement activities, including a regional workshop and a stakeholder roundtable in Bratislava, bringing together young professionals,&nbsp;experts&nbsp;and institutions from across the Danube Region. GWP CEE also led the analytical work of the project, including needs assessment, funding mapping, and the preparation of a joint workplan. Through these activities, it helped build a community of practice and laid the foundation for new fundraising and follow-up project development in the youth and water
