Regional Days, the <\/span>annual <\/span>meeting <\/span>of GWP regional and global secretariats <\/span>took <\/span>place in<\/span> a hybrid form in Stockholm<\/span> and online<\/span>.<\/span> Ove<\/span>r two full days,<\/span> GWP <\/span>representatives from the 13<\/span> regions <\/span>where the partnersh<\/span>ips are active, <\/span>shared <\/span>their achievement and experiences <\/span>with <\/span>colleagues<\/span> and <\/span>planned the way ahead<\/span>. <\/span>On the third day, GWP<\/span> partner<\/span>s joined the virtual <\/span><\/span>GWP Network Meeting<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>, <\/span>the <\/span>flagship <\/span>annual <\/span>event<\/span> of the partners<\/span>.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

A full day meeting <\/span>for communication officers <\/span>preceded <\/span>the three<\/span>-day<\/span>events.

<\/span><\/span>GWP <\/span>CEE <\/span>had the opportunity to <\/span>share its <\/span>success stories <\/span>and<\/span> manage to<\/span> influence <\/span>th<\/span>e <\/span>next steps of <\/span>several<\/span> of <\/span>colleagues from different GWP regions. The first and the most resonating one <\/span>was the <\/span><\/span>Interreg Danube Floodplain Online Course<\/span><\/span><\/a>. Already<\/span>,<\/span> during the communication officers meeting<\/span>,<\/span> the course was presented as a huge regional success with the ability to be scaled and transferred to other regions.<\/span> GWP <\/span>Southeast<\/span> Asia, as one example, is currently working on <\/span>a similar<\/span> activity and showed considerable interest in replicating the course for their audience.

<\/span><\/span>A special Regional <\/span>Posters<\/span> session took place<\/span> during the Regional Days<\/span>. The session <\/span>utilized<\/span> quite a <\/span>direct <\/span>way of highlighting the key information from each region as they all produced a clear and comprehensive message <\/span>about the three main achievements and a <\/span>vision<\/span> for their respective direction in the future.<\/span> GWP shared its success with <\/span><\/span>the referendum on the Water Act in Slovenia<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> and the <\/span>Sustainable Sanitation Taskforce new report<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a> on the latest developments in the <\/span>region<\/span> among others<\/span>.

<\/span><\/span>Each poster reserved some space for a special regional zoom on. In GWP CEE case, the focus is on building a Nature Base Solutions<\/span> (NBS)<\/span> community <\/span>as part of the <\/span><\/span>GWP Toolbox \u2013 <\/span><\/span><\/a>IWRM<\/span> Action Hub<\/span><\/span> which will lead to multiple new opportunities in the CEE region and beyond.

<\/span>Network Meeting\u202f Breakout Groups<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

GWP CEE Regional Coordinator and Communications Officer were rapporteurs at two of the Breakout Groups at the GWPO Network Meeting, respectively on Communications for Social Change and Mobilizing Youth for Water Resources Management. The breakout groups<\/span> also<\/span> included one of the participants at the GWP CEE massive open online course on <\/span>Danube River<\/span> restoration and the consequent <\/span><\/span>Winter School<\/span><\/span><\/a> \u2013 a series of webinars, as well as presenting the <\/span>GWP CEE Summer School<\/span><\/span><\/a> as a renewed youth flagship action of GWP CEE<\/span>.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
