DriDanube project partners developed a Danube Drought Strategy which aims to build the capacity of the Danube region to overcome common deficiencies in coping with drought, and thus help switch from reactive to proactive drought management approach.<\/p>\n

Revision of the EU policy instruments, related to drought and water scarcity mitigation<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

Revision of the EU policy instruments and their potential to contribute to EU droughts and water scarcity policies prepared as a collaboration of Integrated Drought Management Programme in CEE and EU Strategy for the Danube Region (Priority Area Environmental Risks) experts.<\/p>\n

Practical Guidelines on Planning Small Water Retention in River Basins<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

Nine partners from six Central European countries, in a framework of the FramWat project, developed a practical guidance for planning Natural (Small) Water Retention Measures (N(S)WRM) in the river basins.<\/p>\n

GWP Network Meeting 2020<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

The annual GWP Partners 2020 Network Meeting took place on 21-22 October under the theme “Bringing the Change”. As part of the Network Meeting, the Partners had the opportunity to comment on the GWP in Action 2019 Annual Report and the GWP Annual Financial Report 2019.<\/p>\n
