This program aims to integrate water security and climate resilience into the development planning process, increase climate resilience and to help the country adapt to a new climate regime while promoting investment in water security.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Tableau\" src=\"https:\/\/gwpo-gwp.org\/central-africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2026\/04\/table-3.jpg\" height=\"300\" width=\"640\"><\/p>\n<p>The opening ceremony was chaired by the Director of Natural Resources and Energy.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop provided a detailed presentation of the program and sensitization of participants on issues related to water management in the country.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Group view\" src=\"https:\/\/gwpo-gwp.org\/central-africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2026\/04\/groupepic-4-1.jpg\" height=\"426\" width=\"640\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GWP Central Africa launched the Water, Climate and Development Program (WACDEP) in Sao Tome and Principe.
