Sus efectos se ven reflejados en fen\u00f3menos hidrometeorol\u00f3gicos m\u00e1s intensos, recurrentes y prolongados que se ven manifestados en dos extremos de un mismo espectro: inundaciones y sequ\u00eda. A su vez, m\u00faltiples factores como la r\u00e1pida degradaci\u00f3n ambiental, ausencia de ordenamiento territorial, debilidades institucionales o falta de infraestructura adecuada la convierten en una de las regiones m\u00e1s vulnerables en el mundo ante estos embates naturales siendo el Corredor Seco Centroamericano (CSC) una de las \u00e1reas m\u00e1s afectadas.<\/p>\n<p>Para responder a este reto, en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os GWP Centroam\u00e9rica, en marco del Programa de Agua, Clima y Desarrollo (PACyD) se ha involucrado en la promoci\u00f3n y desarrollo de capacidades alrededor de los Sistemas de Cosecha de Aguas Lluvias (SCALL), apoyando su implementaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de la articulaci\u00f3n de miembros e instituciones socias, generando logros importantes en la transferencia de tecnolog\u00eda y ganando valiosas experiencias en aspectos t\u00e9cnicos y organizacionales. Adem\u00e1s de poder aportar a una mejor comprensi\u00f3n de la Gesti\u00f3n Integrada del Recurso H\u00eddrico (GIRH) y darles a las intervenciones un enfoque de g\u00e9nero. <a
