{"id":3525,"date":"2011-12-07T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2011-12-07T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gwpo-gwp.org\/centroamerica\/news\/humedal-de-importancia-internacional\/"},"modified":"2026-04-24T08:56:57","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T07:56:57","slug":"humedal-de-importancia-internacional","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gwpo-gwp.org\/centroamerica\/archive\/humedal-de-importancia-internacional\/","title":{"rendered":"Humedal de Importancia Internacional"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El <strong>Centro para la Investigaci\u00f3n en Recursos Acu\u00e1ticos de Nicaragua (CIRA-UNAM)<\/strong>, ha liderado la iniciativa, desde hace 10 a\u00f1os, de restaurar la cuenca h\u00eddrica que alberga estos tres cuerpos de agua.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, es de notar que este Humedal est\u00e1 amparado por el <strong>Plan de Gesti\u00f3n Integral<\/strong> del Sistema Lagunar Moy\u00faa-Playitas-Tecomapa, oficializado por el Concejo Municipal de Ciudad Dar\u00edo en el 2006. El Plan est\u00e1 constituido por cuatro programas (y sus subprogramas) en temas econ\u00f3micos, de conservaci\u00f3n, de desarrollo de sistemas agroforestales, y de educaci\u00f3n y sensibilizaci\u00f3n ambiental.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;El <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cira-unan.edu.ni\/index.php?s=2\">Centro para la Investigaci\u00f3n en Recursos Acu\u00e1ticos de Nicaragua (CIRA\/UNAN)<\/a> es un Instituto acad\u00e9mico y de investigaci\u00f3n dedicado a contribuir al aprovechamiento y la  protecci\u00f3n de los recursos h\u00eddricos de Nicaragua y Centroam\u00e9rica quien forma parte de la Universidad Nacional Aut\u00f3noma de Nicaragua.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>La <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ramsar.org\/cda\/es\/ramsar-about-about-ramsar\/main\/ramsar\/1-36%5E7687_4000_2__\">Convenci\u00f3n sobre los Humedales<\/a> (Ramsar, Ir\u00e1n, 1971) es un tratado intergubernamental en el que se consagran los compromisos contra\u00eddos por sus pa\u00edses miembros para mantener las caracter\u00edsticas ecol\u00f3gicas de sus humedales y planificar el &#8220;uso racional&#8221;, o uso sostenible, de todos los humedales situados en sus
