Another presentation entitled &nbsp;\u201cthe challenges at the construction of sponge cities in China\u201d was brought by Prof. Cheng who described the pressures and challenges of urban water security in China in the current situation that demanded a clear understanding of key problems of the integrated urban flood management and solutions as well as that of the nature of urban floods and their environment to work out a transformation mechanism from the disasters-stressed &nbsp;to that of rainwater resources utilization.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On May 7,
