On behalf of GWP China, Mr. Zheng Rugang, Coordinator, Ms. Ma Yilin, Programme Officer, Prof. Jia Yangwen, Member of GWP China TEC and Professor of the China Water Resources and Hydropower Research Institute and Mr. Shi Jian, Vice Chair of GWP China Shaanxi participated in GWP Regional Days and CP Meeting from August 15-19,2011 in Stocholm. Ms Ma Yilin and Prof. Jia Yangwen also participated in some activities of the 21th World Water Week.<\/p>\n
During the meetings, the GWP China Delegation participated in all activities and discussions. Mr. Jia Yangwen delivered a presentation of \u201cStrategy and Practices on Water Resources Management for Food Security\u201d at Workshop 2 of CP Meeting on August 18. To celebrate the 15th year anniversary of the founding of GWP, the Annual Lecture was given by HRH the Prince of Orange of the Netherlands on Aug.19.<\/p>\n
Taking the opportunity, Mr. Zheng Rugang and Ms. Ma Yilin also exchanged ideas with the responsible officers of the GWP Secretariat on the work plan of 2012. At the World Water Week, Mr. Jia Yangwen was invited as the panelist on the Side Event \u201cEye on Asia\u201d organized by ADB on August 23, 2011.<\/p>\n
In addition, with the assistance of the GWP China, Mr. Li Wei, Vice Mayor of Chengde City, Hebei Province of China, participated in the Mayors Panel discussions on August 22, 2011 of the Stockholm World Water Week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
