Its aim is to present and discuss the draft <strong>Strategy<\/strong> for the WEFE Nexus in the Mediterranean Source to Sea continuum in view of its eventual finalisation and adoption.<\/p>\n<p>Held within the joint initiative of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), the UN Environment Mediterranean Action Plan (UNEP-MAP), and the European Union (EU), it is organized by the Global Water Partnership &#8211; Mediterranean (GWP-Med) in the framework of the GEF UNEP\/MAP MedProgramme <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gwp.org\/en\/GWP-Mediterranean\/WE-ACT\/Programmes-per-theme\/Water-Food-Energy-Nexus\/the-medprogramme\/mediterranean-coastal-zones-managing-the-water-energy-food-ecosystems-nexus\/\">Child Project 2.2<\/a> on WEFE Nexus in cooperation with&nbsp;the \u201cEU WES in the ENI Southern Neighbourhood region\u201d Project and the PRIMA Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>\u0391 <b>Regional Nexus Dialogue Process<\/b> in the Mediterranean (Regional Dialogue) was launched in June 2023 during the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gwp.org\/en\/GWP-Mediterranean\/WE-ACT\/News-List-Page\/20232\/nexus-roundtable\/\">1<sup>st<\/sup> Regional Roundtable on Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus in the Mediterranean in Rabat<\/a>.
