Global Water Partnership \u2013 Mediterranean (GWP \u2013 Med), legally and lawfully represented by the non-profit society MEDITERRANEAN INFORMATION OFFICE FOR ENVIRONMENT, CULTURE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT \u2013 MIO ECSDE announces the present call for the Supply of precision agriculture Drones and related Training for the Demonstration Activity related to Testing innovative technologies and partnerships for food security in Lebanon The call for offers has been issued by GWP-Med in the framework Child Project 2.2 of the GEF\/UNEP MedProgramme.<\/p>\n

 SUBMISSION OF OFFERS BY: <\/b>29\/7\/2025 22\/07\/2025<\/span> at 17:00h CET<\/p>\n

You are kindly invited to read carefully the attached Call <\/a>and ToR <\/a>and submit your offer to procurement@gwpmed.org<\/a>  writing in the email subject line: Call for Offers 35<\/b>\/2025\/CP2.2<\/b>, before the above-mentioned closing date.<\/p>\n

In your email you should attach the following two folders:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A compressed folder (.zip or .rar) containing the Technical Offer<\/a> and the Solemn Self Declaration<\/a> and any other supporting documents.<\/li>\n
  2. A password-protected <\/b>compressed folder (.zip or .rar) containing only your financial offer<\/a>. The password for opening the password-protected folder with your financial offer should be sent to the same email address ONLY at the request of the contracting Authority which will send a follow up email to all participants that their technical offer has passed the technical evaluation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In case the password is sent together with the offer file, the offer will be rejected.<\/b><\/p>\n

    In case the financial offer is not password protected the offer will be rejected<\/b><\/p>\n

    All documentation \/ offers must be in English unless specifically stated otherwise in the Call for offers.<\/b><\/p>\n

    Q1: -     Table 2: Drone for Spraying \u2013 Technical specifications of the equipment you will offer compared with the required technical specifications: the specifications refer to the DJI T30 DRONE, which is no longer in production.<\/p>\n

    As an alternative, there is the DJI T50 DRONE (the largest currently available for sale in Europe); however, it does not have a flight autonomy of 30 minutes as indicated in the table, but rather 15 minutes. The DJI T50 drone has a tank capacity of 40 liters instead of 30 liters (please find attached the main technical specifications). Please let us know if it would be ok as well;<\/p>\n

    A1: 1.   The offered equipment must be in compliance with the technical specifications, as set in the Terms of Reference (ToRs) of the Call for Offers.<\/p>\n

    Q2: For the equipment, compliance with Lebanese aviation regulations is required. Could you kindly provide us with more detailed information regarding these regulations?<\/p>\n

    A2: refer to the responsible Agencies: Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and the Lebanese Army.
