Global Water Partnership \u2013 Mediterranean (GWP \u2013 Med), legally and lawfully represented by the non-profit society MEDITERRANEAN INFORMATION OFFICE FOR ENVIRONMENT, CULTURE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT \u2013 MIO ECSDE announces the present call for the Development of a project fiche in the form of a GCF Concept Note and related Project Preparation Facility (PPF) application for the project.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

The call for offers has been issued by GWP-Med in the framework of \u201cEnhancing water security and farmers resilience in Assi River Basin through Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) solutions \u2013 Lebanon\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

 SUBMISSION OF OFFERS BY:<\/b> 31st<\/sup> of January 2025, at 17:00h CET<\/p>\n

You are kindly invited to read carefully the attached Call <\/a>and ToR <\/a>and submit your offer to procurement@gwpmed.org<\/a>  writing in the email subject line: \u201cCall for Offers 1\/2025\/CP2.2, before the above-mentioned closing date.<\/p>\n

In your email you should attach the following two folders:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A compressed folder (.zip or .rar) containing the Technical Offer<\/a> and the Solemn Self Declaration <\/a>and any other supporting documents.<\/li>\n
  2. A password-protected <\/b>compressed folder (.zip or .rar) containing only your financial offer<\/a>. The password for opening the password-protected folder with your financial offer should be sent to the same email address ONLY at the request of the contracting Authority which will send a follow up email to all participants that their technical offer has passed the technical evaluation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In case the password is sent together with the offer file, the offer will be rejected.<\/b><\/p>\n

    In case the financial offer is not password protected; the offer will be rejected.<\/b><\/p>\n

    All documentation \/ offers must be in English<\/b><\/p>\n

    Q: According to the ToR, it seems that travel to Lebanon is expected. Can you confirm whether or not this is the case, given the current security situation in the country and region?<\/p>\n

    A: Kindly consider that travel to Lebanon is expected, unless the security situation does not allow for it. Please refer to the ToRs : \u201cThe consultant should detail a contingency plan in the methodology to address the potential escalation of the situation in the region and the suspension of international flights to Lebanon, ensuring that the project is delivered on time and meets the required standards.\u201d<\/p>\n
