The benefits and limitations of sand mining were discussed and Tauhidul Anwar Khan, GWP Bangladesh\u2019s Secretary General, presented the keynote paper which highlighted unplanned and mismanaged sand mining. He also presented the government\u2019s draft plan which recommends the integrated management of mining sand from the riverbeds.
