It began with the introduction of Indonesia Water Coalition to the public by held a live instragram event to commemorate the World Water Day. The live Instagram event were held from 22 \u2013 30 March 2021 with an objective to leverage best practices from each company and organization. The coalition also held an internal training with a relevant subject. The first training was held on the 14, 16, 18 June 2021 with a focus on water stewardship and water fund.<\/p>\n
Approximately 16 participants were engaged during the 3 days training. On the 1st day (session) of the training, all participants learned the theory and its application of a good water stewardship and water funds that have been implemented in Indonesia. On the 2nd day of the training, participants learned how an industrial site can plan a sustainable water stewardship programme within a catchment area. On the last day of the training, the participants learned how to design a roadmap from a case study.<\/p>\n

Indonesia Water Coalition was formed with a mission to improve water management in Indonesia. The Founding Members of the Coalition are Yayasan Aliansi Wali Sumber Daya Air Indonesia (Alliance for Water Stewardship Indonesia), PT Coca-Cola Indonesia, Danone Indonesia, Global Water Partnership Southeast Asia, PT Indofood Sukses Makmur, Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara (The Nature Conservancy Indonesia), PT L’Or\u00e9al Indonesia, PT Multi Bintang Indonesia, PT Nestl\u00e9 Indonesia, dan PT Unilever Indonesia. Following several discussions, the charter was signed through an online ceremony on the 29 January 2021.
