The Board seeks individuals with expertise in any of the following areas:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Strategic Planning<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Corporate Governance<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Finance, Human Resources<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Legal, Institutional Development<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Climate Change, Blue Economy, Agriculture Development<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Gender, Youth, and social inclusion<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Fund Raising<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Applications are invited from interested professionals with experience in Board leadership and strategic management. <\/span>Professionals willing to be part of a dynamic and growing organization and network are encouraged to apply. <\/span>GWP registered partners are encouraged to nominate interested candidates from member institutions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    Nomination Process                                                   <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

    The nomination process is guided by Article 8 (2) of the GWPSA Constitution:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Interested candidates from member institutions will send their CVs to the GWPSA Secretariat with a duly completed <\/span><\/span>Nomination Form<\/span><\/span><\/a> .<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/li>\n
    2. The completed <\/span><\/span>Nomination Form<\/span><\/span><\/b> should be submitted to GWPSA using the contacts on the form.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    3. All applications will be reviewed by the GWPSA Search Committee. <\/span>As per the GWPSA Constitution, the GWPSA Board (Regional Steering Committee) has established a Search Committee consisting of the members of the Board Governance sub-committee and the Regional Executive Secretary.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    4. The Search Committee will oversee the nomination, short-listing, and selection processes.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    5. The Search Committee will select the three highest caliber candidates that will be presented to the GWPSA Board for consideration.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    6. The GWPSA Board will present the name of the selected candidate for final adoption by GWPSA Partners during the GWPSA Consulting Partners Meeting.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    7. The GWPSA Partners will consider the selected candidate and pass a Resolution for adoption by the CP.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    8. If adopted, the nominated candidate will join the GWPSA Board and will serve for a four-year term from December 2021 – December 2025.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Interested candidates from GWPSA member institutions will send their CVs to the GWPSA Secretariat. <\/span>The GWPSA search committee looks forward to receiving nominations <\/span><\/span>by Friday 10 December 2021.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Kindly find requirements and responsibilities of the GWPSA Board Members on Annex 1 on the <\/span><\/span>Call for nominations<\/span><\/span><\/a> . <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      Applicants must complete the nomination form attached and include a Curriculum Vitae (max 5 pages). <\/span>Nominations without CVs will not be considered.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
