GWP-Eswatini formerly Eswatini Country Water Partnership (EWP) was accredited to GWPSA in 2022. Global Water Partnership Eswatini (GWP-Eswatini) was set in the Kingdom of Eswatini, brings together various sectors and interest groups to identify and discuss common water problems and develop action plans based on IWRM.
Eswatini is located in Southern Africa, therefore GWP-Eswatini is affiliated to the Global Water Partnership Southern Africa (GWPSA) regional office and Global Water Partnership Stockholm. The partnership operates under GWPSA’s support and guidance. The Headquarters of the Partnership is at Siphofaneni in the Kingdom of Eswatini.
Mission
To promote collaboration and sustainable utilisation and management of water resources in the kingdom of Eswatini through exchange of knowledge, experience, and the practise of IWRM.
Goal
Co-ordinated development and management of water, land, forestry, wetlands and human resources by maximising economic and social welfare without compromising the sustainability of vital ecosystems.
