The Country Water Partnership Botswana (CWP Botswana), officially known as the Global Water Partnership Organisation-Botswana (GWP Botswana), is a national multi-stakeholder platform committed to advancing sustainable water resources management in Botswana. The organisation brings together individuals and professionals who share a common commitment to promoting Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) as a means of ensuring water security, environmental sustainability and socio-economic development.Â
Established as an affiliated Country Water Partnership of the Global Water Partnership Organisation (GWPO) in Stockholm, Sweden, and the Global Water Partnership Southern Africa (GWPSA) in Pretoria, South Africa, GWP Botswana serves as a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, policy dialogue and coordinated action to address the country’s water challenges while contributing to regional and global water initiatives.Â

Headquartered in Gaborone, the partnership works closely with government, development partners, academia, civil society and water professionals to support the sustainable management and development of Botswana’s water resources.Â
