GWP is committed to delivering results through strong governance, strategic planning, and transparent reporting.
Guided by its vision of a water-secure world, GWP adopts multi-year strategies approved by its Partners, with three-year work programmes and annual plans endorsed by the global Steering Committee. Progress is reviewed annually to assess impact. In 2025, GWPO and the Partnership embarked on a Global Transformation Agenda on Water Investments, guided by its Strategy 2026–2030. The Strategy focuses on three critical, interdependent strategic goals: finance and investments; Governance; and Knowledge, Capacity, Data, and Digital Transformation.
To ensure accountability, GWP publishes annual reports (GWP in Action), progress reviews, and audited financial statements.
