Stockholm, Sweden — The Global Water Partnership Organisation (GWPO) has launched a global recruitment drive under its Global Transformation Agenda, marking a decisive shift toward a delivery-focused, investment-driven intergovernmental organisation. The organisation aims to mobilise USD 15 billion in water investments by 2030, accelerating implementation across 180+ countries through its global network of partners.
With an innovative new dual headquarters model in Windhoek, Namibia, and Cape Town, South Africa, this will be complemented by a network of decentralised GWPO Thematic Hubs hosted by Regional Water Partnerships across Asia, Latin America & the Caribbean, and Europe.
A Hybrid Global Talent Model aligned to the UN with private sector performance culture and career progression framework
As an accredited entity to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC), GWPO has adopted a hybrid compensation and career framework that combines UN-aligned transparent remuneration and benefits with a performance-driven, private sector–oriented culture and a professional career progression system.
A Global Call for Talent
GWPO is recruiting across leadership, technical, investment, communications, and operational roles—seeking professionals ready to operate at the intersection of policy, finance, and delivery.
Leadership Perspective
“Our Global Transformation Agenda is about building an institution that combines the legitimacy of the public sector with the execution strength of the private sector—delivered through a decentralised global model anchored by our dual headquarters. This recruitment is central to delivering impact at scale.”
