The Regional Secretariat is responsible for coordination of regional programmes. The Secretariat is headed by the Regional Coordinator (RCO) and responsible for strategic implementation of the regional work programme.
GWP SAS secretariat operates from Colombo, Sri Lanka. The Regional Coordinator ensures coordination among the six Country Water Partnerships (CWPs) and interaction between GWPO, CWPs and its partners. The Regional Secretariat plays a key role in coordinating regional initiatives, mobilising resources, supporting CWPs, and enhancing the performance and long-term sustainability of the GWP SAS Network.
