Our Regional Collaboration
Together with the National Water Partnerships of nine countries — Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia — GWP CACENA leads a wide range of initiatives that promote Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) across the region.
What We Do
– Organise roundtables and seminars to raise awareness on IWRM among government representatives and water experts
– Build institutional capacity through specialized training programs
– Facilitate national dialogues on achieving SDG 6
– Engage youth in solving water challenges through competitions and exhibitions
– Empower women by supporting their participation in water governance processes
Global Engagement
GWP CACENA actively participates in major international forums on water, climate change, and environmental sustainability. As part of the global GWP network, the region contributes to GWPO-led campaigns, consultations, and training programs, while receiving ongoing technical guidance and support.
