GWP China’s organizational structure contains: the Council and the Supervisor are elected by the Partner Assembly.
As the supreme decision-making body of the association, the Council is responsible for formulating the overall organizational development strategy, examining and approving major decisions, and defining the development direction. The Supervisor’s primary responsibility is to oversee the performance of duties by the Council and the Secretariat, ensuring that all organizational activities are conducted in a standardized manner and that the association strictly abides by its Charter and relevant provisions.
Under the Council, there are three subordinate bodies: the Secretariat, the Technical Committee and partnerships/branch organizations. As the administrative and executive body, the Secretariat undertakes daily operation and management, implementation of policy decisions and deployment, internal and external communication and coordination, as well as the overall integration and allocation of resources. Composed of experts appointed by the Council, the Technical Committee acts as GWP China’s core technical support body, providing professional consultation, technical demonstration and academic guidance for all decision-making work. All branch organizations serve as the extended carriers and on-the-ground implementation platforms of the association across different fields, regions and professional disciplines.
