In the frame of D-CLEAN project (Interreg Danube Region Programme) we have published the first key publication (prepared by UNI LJ, BOKU, LIMNOS): the Report on the Current Situation of Wastewater and Stormwater Management in Small Settlements of the Danube River Basin (December 2025).
The report focuses on the current wastewater and stormwater situation across the region and participating countries, providing country-specific insights alongside examples of existing approaches and good practices in small settlements.
D-CLEAN project is led by GWP CEE and aims to promote sustainable wastewater and stormwater management approaches tailored to small settlements, contributing to improved environmental protection and resilience in the Danube River Basin.
