Applications Open for the iNNO SED Summer School 2026
Applications are now open for the iNNO SED Summer School 2026, titled “Innovating River Futures: From Sediment Science to Field Action.” The summer school will take place 28 June – 3 July 2026 in Göd, Hungary and will bring together students and young professionals interested in river systems, sediment management, and climate resilience.
The programme is open to MSc and PhD students as well as young professionals (up to 5 years of experience) working in fields such as hydrology, environmental science, water resource management, geomorphology, civil and environmental engineering, ecology, policy, social sciences, and related disciplines.
Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of sediment processes, monitoring and measurement techniques, and integrated river basin assessments. The programme combines interactive lectures, interdisciplinary group work, and field visits, allowing participants to explore innovative tools and participatory approaches while working on real river challenges.
Selected participants will receive support covering programme participation, accommodation and meals during the summer school, field trip costs, and a travel subsidy of up to 250 EUR per person.
